In 1973, vocalist Ricky Williams released this largely overlooked, percussion-laden slab of funk, "Discotheque Soul", on the small Ebony Sounds Records. The B-side of the 45 has been sampled by hip-hop artists like Big Daddy Kane, EPMD and Pete Rock over the years. Both parts of this groundbreaking track have been lovingly restored and remastered for inclusion in the digital domain. It looks this was Williams only release, don't miss out a second time.
